Gold medal for “beneficial contribution”

Ejendals CEO Per-Olof Ejendal has been awarded the Great Gold Medal for his “beneficial contribution to Swedish industry”. The award will be given at a formal ceremony in Riddarhuset (the House of the Nobility) in Stockholm in the presence of King Carl XVI Gustaf.

“I feel tremendously honoured. It means a great deal for the CEO of a medium-sized company to receive a distinction of this magnitude,” says Per-Olof Ejendal. It is a great thing for the company to receive this recognition and I would like to emphasise the important role that all of my employees have played in my success.” Under his management, Ejendals has developed into one of the leading entrepreneurial companies in Sweden. Ejendals – one of Europe’s foremost suppliers of hand and foot protection for professionals.

Multiple awards

Per-Olof Ejendal has received several awards for his successful work. In the past six months, he has been nominated Marketer of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year in Dalarna/Mälardalen and he is now to be awarded a gold medal by the Swedish Royal Patriotic Society.

Considerable contributions

In 1982, the Royal Patriotic Society established a medal to honour commendable, individual contributions to Swedish industry. Every year, around 10 great gold medals are awarded to entrepreneurs in small and medium-sized companies. As owners of the companies concerned, the recipients are considered to have made significant contributions to their company and their region.
