Gold medal for
“beneficial contribution”

Ejendals CEO Per-Olof Ejendal
has been awarded the Great
Gold Medal for his “beneficial
contribution to Swedish industry”.
The award will be given at a
formal ceremony in Riddarhuset
(the House of the Nobility) in
Stockholm in the presence of
King Carl XVI Gustaf.

great deal for the CEO of
a medium-sized company
to receive a distinction
of this magnitude,” says
Per-Olof Ejendal. It is a

Under his management, Ejendals has
developed into one of the leading entrepreneurial
companies in Sweden. Ejendals –
one of Europe’s foremost suppliers of hand
and foot protection for professionals.
Multiple awards
Per-Olof Ejendal has received several
awards for his successful work. In the past
six months, he has been nominated Marketer
of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year in
Dalarna/Mälardalen and he is now to be
awarded a gold medal by the Swedish
Royal Patriotic Society.
Considerable contributions
In 1982, the Royal Patriotic Society established
a medal to honour commendable, individual
contributions to Swedish industry.
Every year, around 10 great gold medals
are awarded to entrepreneurs in small and
medium-sized companies. As owners of the
companies concerned, the recipients are
considered to have made significant contributions
to their company and their region.
