Ny standard for sikkerhed

What Is an Arc Flash, and Why Is Protection Essential?
An arc flash is a sudden, intense release of energy caused by an electrical fault, where an electric current escapes its intended path and travels through the air between conductors or to the ground. This triggers an explosion of heat, light, and pressure, posing serious risks such as severe burns, injuries, and even fatalities.

*The ASTM F2675-22 is a Standard Test Method for Determining Arc Ratings of Hand Protective Products Developed and Used for Electrical Arc Flash Protection. A European standard is under development, and this US testing procedure will be incorporated into the European standard.
