Le Leather Working Group est une organisation multipartite à but non lucratif qui s’engage à réduire l’impact environnemental de la fabrication du cuir. Il établit les normes LWG – un ensemble de critères environnementaux sur la base desquels les fabricants de cuir font l’objet d’un audit et d’une certification indépendants. Le Leather Working Group s’engage à améliorer continuellement la fabrication du cuir et encourage la transparence de la chaîne d’approvisionnement par le biais du développement continu de ses normes.
