Michael, Johan, and Carl tested the ventilated JALAS Exalter 9935, while Mikael opted for the waterproof 9995 model, given his frequent use of water in tiling and masonry.
"Fantastic Fit"
Michael Hedvall praised the JALAS Exalter 9935 for its fantastic fit and the full tongue design that keeps dirt out. He noted that the shoe remains comfortable even after long hours of use. In addition, the shoe’s seamless, tongue-free construction—often referred to as a sock-like design—further contributes to its ergonomic fit and overall comfort.
Michael gave the JALAS Exalter 9935 a strong rating, saying it was nearly perfect. He noted that its only drawback was being a bit heavier than the JALAS Tempus safety shoe he previously wore. Still, he considers the Exalter to be more comfortable overall.
Excellent Grip and Recycled Materials
Johan Olsson also gave high marks to the JALAS Exalter 9935. He appreciated the shoe's excellent grip and soft outsole, which he found crucial for slip resistance. Although the model is specifically designed for indoor use and features a highly ventilated construction, he noted that his feet still tend to get warm during extended wear.
Carl Gunnarsson described the 9935 as a high-quality shoe. He emphasized the importance of sustainability in his teaching and was pleased with the use of recycled materials in the Exalter model.
JALAS Exalter 9995: Waterproof Reliability
Mikael Nystrand was impressed with the waterproof capabilities of the JALAS Exalter 9995, stating that it fully lived up to expectations. He felt more energized wearing these shoes compared to other models like the Tempus. While he didn’t give a precise score, he considered the 9995 to be among the top performers.
Mikael also highlighted the importance of regularly replacing safety shoes to ensure they continue to provide proper protection—something he makes a point of teaching his students.
