Het is gelukt! TEGERA® 7787 wint de DuPont Kevlar® Innovation Award

De nieuwe TEGERA 7787-lashandschoen van Ejendals is uitgeroepen tot de wereldwijde winnaar van de prestigieuze DuPont Kevlar® Innovation Award voor industriële PBM’s. Na de uitreiking van de award op de A+A-vakbeurs blikte Anders Näs, product development manager bij Ejendals, terug op de wereldwijde erkenning van de TEGERA 7787-lashandschoen en het teamwork achter dit succes.

Een ode aan innovatie: TEGERA 7787 wint groots op de A+A-beurs

Op de A+A-vakbeurs in Düsseldorf nam onze product development manager Anders Näs de prijs namens het hele TEGERA-team vol trots in ontvangst. De DuPont Kevlar® Innovation Award bekroont baanbrekend design en prestaties op het gebied van persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen. De TEGERA 7787-lashandschoen viel op door de uitzonderlijke combinatie van comfort, bescherming en gebruiksgemak.

Deze erkenning van een van de meest gerespecteerde materiaalinnovators ter wereld bevestigt wat we al wisten: échte innovatie ontstaat wanneer veiligheid, vakmanschap en passie samenkomen. De TEGERA 7787-lashandschoen is meer dan alleen een veiligheidshandschoen - het is het bewijs van wat er bereikt kan worden wanneer knappe koppen samenwerken met één gezamenlijk doel: het beschermen van de handen die onze wereld vormgeven.

Welding glove made from premium quality black goat grain leather with a cow split cuff reinforced with canvas. The high-quality materials offer a perfect fit and fleece inside makes the glove comfortable. Gun grip reinforcements provide added durability and grip, and control patches protect against both abrasion and heat. The glove has cut protection F with Kevlar® and is heat resistant up to 100°C /212°F. To enhance fingertip sensitivity, the glove features a unique folded fingertips design

Shortly after the award ceremony at A+A, we caught up with Anders Näs, to hear his thoughts on the TEGERA 7787 welding glove’s global recognition and what this achievement means for the TEGERA team.

When you heard that TEGERA® 7787 had won – what was your first reaction?
– I am so happy — it’s such a great feeling! I’ve known about the DuPont Kevlar® Innovation Award for a couple of years and have dreamed of one day winning it with a product — and now that dream has come true.
 
What does this award from DuPont mean to you and to Ejendals?
– It’s an international recognition from one of the world’s most respected companies in material and safety innovation.
 
How does it feel to receive this kind of acknowledgment?
– I’d say it feels a bit unreal — both for me and for our fantastiv TEGERA team. Of course, I can’t speak for everyone, but above all, it’s a wonderful recognition that we, as a team, are doing great things together.
This is an award from one of the world’s most respected brands, and on an international level too — which makes it even more special. It’s fantastic to see our products, now recognized by DuPont, reaching even more users, and that this one can proudly represent not only the TEGERA® brand but also Kevlar®.
 
What do you think makes this particular glove stand out so much that it’s being recognized globally?
– The user-friendliness combined with the high level of protection. A product that protects so well but is still comfortable — and that, thanks to all the high-quality materials, allows the user to do their job safely and securely.
 
If you had to name one thing that really makes users’ work easier with the TEGERA 7787, what would it be?
– That you can do your job with the glove on! With the 7787, you can perform all tasks without having to take it off or struggle.
 
How are you celebrating this award? Is it coffee, a toast, or high-fives at the booth?
– There will definitely be some high-fives, but mostly some cake when we’re back at the office so everyone can join in and celebrate!
