Het Dermatest-keurmerk is een betrouwbare aanduiding voor een veilige en gecontroleerde aankoop, en het springt in het oog tijdens het winkelen.
De patchtest toont aan of het product mogelijk huidirritatie of overgevoeligheid veroorzaakt. Teststoffen worden in de juiste hoeveelheid aangebracht en afgedekt. Na 24, 48, en 72 uur wordt de huid onderzocht. Als het product slaagt voor deze test, dan wordt het "Dermatest® garantie"-keurmerk verleend, samen met een rapport en een certificaat waarop de testdatum staat vermeld.
