Ejendals is met trots lid van de Leather Working Group
De Leather Working Group is een non-profitorganisatie met diverse belanghebbenden, die zich inzet om de milieu-impact van leerproductie te verminderen. Deze organisatie stelt de LWG-normen op - een reeks milieucriteria op basis waarvan leerfabrikanten onafhankelijk worden gecontroleerd en gecertificeerd. De Leather Working Group streeft naar voortdurende verbeteringen in de leerproductie en bevordert de transparantie van de toeleveringsketen door middel van normen die doorlopend in ontwikkeling zijn.
Ejendals’ lidmaatschap van de Leather Working Group benadrukt ons streven naar meer transparantie in de toeleveringsketen en een voortdurende verbetering van de leerproductie. Door dit lidmaatschap ondersteunt Ejendals de doelstelling van de LWG voor het implementeren van wereldwijd erkende milieunormen voor leerproductie.
We breiden ons productassortiment voortdurend uit met nieuwe leren TEGERA-handschoenen van leerfabrikanten die gecertificeerd zijn volgens de LWG-norm. Bovendien zijn al onze leren JALAS-schoenen afkomstig van leerfabrikanten die gecertificeerd zijn volgens de LWG-norm.
