Zo werkt het GORE-TEX-membraan
Het GORE-TEX-membraan bevat miljarden microscopisch kleine poriën die kleiner zijn dan waterdruppels, maar groter dan waterdamp. Hierdoor ontstaat een waterdichte barrière die water buiten houdt en tegelijkertijd vocht uit de schoen laat ontsnappen.
Een volledig waterdichte constructie
In JALAS veiligheidsschoenen met GORE-TEX omsluit het membraan de voet en werkt het samen met het bovenmateriaal, het beschermende breisel en de binnenvoering. Samen vormen deze lagen een complete constructie die waterdichte bescherming biedt.

Waterdichte bescherming die lang meegaat
Een waterdichte veiligheidsschoen moet water niet alleen buiten houden wanneer hij nieuw is, maar ook tijdens intensief gebruik. Het membraan, de afgedichte naden en de volledige schoenconstructie moeten samenwerken om langdurige waterdichte bescherming te bieden.
