HET KIEZEN VAN DE JUISTE SNIJBESCHERMING VOOR JE WERK
Begin met het beoordelen van het risico op contact met scherpe randen, messen en andere voorwerpen die snijwonden kunnen veroorzaken. Houd ook rekening met andere eisen, zoals grip, pasvorm, beweeglijkheid en bescherming tegen andere gevaren.
Baseer je keuze voor veiligheidshandschoenen altijd op een risicobeoordeling van de specifieke werktaak en de werkomgeving.

Inzicht in snijbeschermingsniveaus
Snijbestendige handschoenen worden in de norm EN 388 ingedeeld in de klassen A - F, waarbij F staat voor de hoogste mate van snijbescherming. De classificatie is gebaseerd op de kracht, gemeten in newton, die nodig is om het handschoenmateriaal door te snijden tijdens de TDM-test.
