Vi setter JALAS Zenit Evo 7198 på prøve: En fagmanns vurdering av vinterstøvler

Når du jobber utendørs om vinteren, må utstyret fungere – ikke minst arbeidsstøvlene. Derfor ble JALAS Zenit Evo 7198 satt på prøve av Daniel Eld, adm.dir. og praktisk operatør i AB Mobilkranar og Dirtpro. Enten han kjører kran eller utfører tungt grunnarbeid, vet Daniel hva som skal til for at utstyret skal takle våte, kalde og krevende miljøer.

Daniel har flere tiår med erfaring innen mobile kranoperasjoner og bakkearbeid, noe som gjør ham til en ekspert på arbeidsklær. Han testet nylig vintervernestøvlene JALAS Zenit Evo 7198 på et av de tøffeste testområdene: ekte nordiske vinterforhold.

«De har gått gjennom alt – smeltende snø, tung slaps og søle. De holdt seg veldig bra, spesielt siden de har vannavvisende egenskaper i stedet for å være helt vanntette. De er hovedsakelig beregnet for kalde forhold, ikke konstant fuktighet, så jeg synes de gjorde det generelt bra. Det kom noe vann gjennom i ekstreme situasjoner, men jeg er imponert», sier Daniel.

Til tross for det våte og barske miljøet, var det komforten som virkelig gjorde mest inntrykk. «De er svært komfortable. Det er det beste med dem», bemerket han.

Daniel found the boots to be very warm, sometimes even requiring a thinner sock on milder days. This affected the fit slightly, so he recommends paying attention to sizing: “With the right socks, the fit was perfect.” Having tested several boots from JALAS and other brands over the years, Daniel calls this pair a standout:

“Best winter boot I’ve had, especially if you have slightly wider feet.”

The design also caught his eye: “They look great. I really like the all-black with yellow details — subtle but stylish.”
