3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation – Lightweight, Warm, and Breathable for Maximum Comfort & Mobility
3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation is warm yet lightweight, powerful yet thin. It helps trap body heat, while allowing moisture to escape. The extremely fine microfibers in Thinsulate insulation help trap air and block body radiant heat loss, making it an efficient insulator. The high warmth-to-thickness ratio of this insualtion enables garment designs with less bulk and enhanced freedom of movement.
Functional cold insulation lining
In the JALAS Heavy Duty Collection we have two boots with 3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation. They are good examples of how Thinsulate are incorporated into JALAS safety shoes.
Both JALAS 1378 and JALAS 1388, are lined with 60% fur and 40% polyester fiber, including laminated Thinsulate ™ thermal insulation layer.
