Jatkaessamme työtämme vuonna 2025 muistelemme ainutlaatuista taivalta, joka on johdattanut meidät tähän – niitä 75 vuotta, jotka olemme omistaneet käsien ja jalkojen suojaamiselle. Saavutuksen juhlistaminen vuonna 2024 muistutti meitä intohimosta, joka ohjaa kaikkea toimintaamme. Sama intohimo turvallisuutta ja innovointia kohtaan ohjaa meitä jatkossakin muokatessamme työturvallisuuden tulevaisuutta uusien ratkaisujen avulla.
Ejendals – ihmisten suojaamista vuodesta 1949
Valfrid Ejendal perusti Ejendalsin vuonna 1949 hurmaavassa Leksandin kaupungissa Ruotsissa, ja se on kasvanut pienestä perheyrityksestä johtavaksi henkilönsuojainten valmistajaksi. Yritystämme pidetään nykyään markkinajohtajana Pohjoismaissa ja sen ulkopuolella, ja se tunnetaan korkealaatuisista TEGERA-suojakäsineistä ja JALAS-turvajalkineista.
Perustajallamme oli alusta alkaen yksinkertainen motto:

Valfrid Ejendal uskoi, että turvallisuuden pitää aina olla etusijalla ja että asiakkaidemme pitää saada tarvitsemansa tuotteet käyttöönsä viipymättä. Tämä sitoutuminen nopeaan palveluun ja luotettavaan suojaukseen loi perustan nykyiselle Ejendalsille.

From Safety Gloves to Comprehensive Protection
Over the years, we’ve expanded our product offerings, starting with safety gloves and later adding safety shoes in the 1970s. Our collaboration with the Finnish company Urho Viljanmaa OY, which produces safety shoes under the brand name "JALAS," was a significant step forward. In 2008, we formed the Ejendals Group, which continues to produce and distribute safety gloves under the brand "TEGERA" and safety shoes under the "JALAS" name. We’ve even expanded our range to include items such as work socks, insoles, and protective sleeves, ensuring comprehensive protection and comfort for workers.
Ejendals' Holistic Approach to Workplace Safety
But at Ejendals, we believe safety is about more than just products. Our mission is to reduce workplace injuries through a holistic approach that includes consultation, education, and ongoing support. We know that hands and feet are the most vulnerable in workplace accidents, accounting for more than half of all injuries. That’s why our "Ejendals Safety Concept" goes beyond offering top-tier products—it encompasses training, safety assessments, and continuous feedback to help our customers create safer working environments.

Our journey has been one of hard work, dedication, and a commitment to our founding values. "It’s important to us to maintain the family feel within Ejendals, even as we continue to grow each year," says Marcus Ejendal, who has been leading the company since 2012 as the third generation of the Ejendal family.
Our history is a driving force for our future, and we’re dedicated to continuing the legacy started by my grandfather, Valfrid, and my father, Per-Olof, who sadly passed away in December 2024. Looking ahead, we will continue to invest in the company to protect more hands and feet, reach more markets, and provide even better protection. Our vision extends into the next 25 years, ensuring that we continue to build on our legacy and that Ejendals will mark its 100th anniversary with even greater success.
