MATERIALS AND TECHNOLOGIES FOR CUT PROTECTION
Cut protection depends not only on the protection level, but also on the materials and technologies used in the glove. Different fibres and material combinations can help provide cut resistance while maintaining properties such as dexterity, flexibility, durability and comfort.
TEGERA CRF®
CRF® is Ejendals’ cut resistant fibre technology, developed to combine reliable cut protection with dexterity and comfort. It is used in TEGERA gloves designed for work where both protection and precision are important.
TEGERA CRF® Omni
CRF® Omni is an advanced cut resistant fibre technology developed for high cut protection while maintaining flexibility and dexterity. It is used in some of our thinnest gloves with high levels of cut resistance.
DuPont™ Kevlar®
Kevlar® is a lightweight, heat resistant fibre used in TEGERA gloves where cut protection may need to be combined with protection against heat. It can provide durable cut resistance without adding unnecessary bulk.
Dyneema® Bio-circular Fibre
Dyneema® bio-circular fibre is used in selected TEGERA cut protection gloves to provide lightweight cut protection while supporting flexibility, comfort and fingertip sensitivity.

DuPont™ Kevlar® fiber – combines heat resistance and cut protection
Kevlar® fiber is an extremely lightweight and heat-resistant material.

Dyneema® Bio-circular Fibre
Ejendals was the first personal protective equipment (PPE) supplier in Europe to introduce cut-resistant gloves made with bio-attributed ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibres – also known as high-performance polyethylene (HPPE).
