Cold Rating – Shoes
This guide will help you understand JALAS Cold Rating Symbols and how to use them when choosing shoes for cold environments.

JALAS Cold Rating Symbols – Guidance for Cold Environments
The Cold Rating system is based on the linings inside JALAS shoes, showing how they are adapted to different weather conditions. Each symbol represents a category — Cool, Cold, Very Cold, or Extreme Cold — with an explanation of the shoe’s lining and insulation. Since everyone experiences cold differently, these ratings should be seen as guidance rather than exact rules. They help you understand the level of warmth and protection you can expect, making it simpler to find the right JALAS shoes for your work environment or outdoor needs.
