Kuleklassifiseringssystemet er basert på fôret i JALAS-skoene, og viser hvordan de er tilpasset ulike værforhold. Hvert symbol representerer en kategori – kjølig, kaldt, svært kaldt eller ekstrem kulde – med en forklaring av skoens fôr og isolasjon. Siden vi alle opplever kulde forskjellig, bør disse vurderingene betraktes som en veiledning snarere enn eksakte regler. De hjelper deg med å forstå hvilket nivå av varme og beskyttelse du kan forvente, noe som gjør det enklere å finne de riktige JALAS-skoene til arbeidsmiljøet eller utendørsbehovene.
Rating – Cool
Lining: Technical fleece – a micro-thin polyester fabric providing softness, warmth, and breathability.
Best for: Mildly cool conditions.
Rating – Cold
Lining/Insulation: Materials such as Thinsulate™ or faux fur lining.
Best for: Cold conditions where added insulation is needed.
Rating – Very Cold
Lining/Insulation: Fully winter-lined with a mix of insulation (e.g., Thinsulate™) and warm linings like faux fur.
Best for: Very cold winter days with long exposure outdoors.
Rating – Extreme Cold
Lining/Insulation: Built for harsh conditions with a combination of insulation materials, fur, and a waterproof membrane.
Best for: Extreme cold and wet environments.
